Physical properties*:
Red roses carry soothing properties to wherever they move in the body, be it in the digestive system (useful for ulcers, gastritis, IBS and more), in the cardiovascular system (easing heart arrhythmia, hypertension and more), in the nervous system and mind (beneficial for anxiety), and in the reproductive system – where it is regulates menstruation and is said to be aphrodisiac. In Chinese medicine Roses are known as a ‘shen tonic’ meaning that they soothe and strengthen the ‘link’ or oneness of mind, heart and spirit, on the physical level this is because they are nervine, on an emotional level this is because they are roses. Roses are excellent at reducing heat and inflammation in the heart and cardiovascular system which may be caused by stress, poor diet, intense emotions, autoimmune diseases and more.
